Sustainable Development is a recent scientific discussion, essentially dealing with a big part of technical, economical, social and cultural aspects of human life. The discussion was opened in international dialogues in early of 80’s and was officially defined in 1987 as “a development that meets the needs of the presents without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”. The need to deal with sustainability issues in development, had Daneshpajoohan Pishro Higher Education Institute (DHEI) to establish a main office for the “International Conference on Sustainable Development & Urban Construction (SDUC)” to proceed on planning and holding the 6th conference at the end of 2016. The 5-year background of holding national and international conferences on SDUC and also leading people attitudes to the issues related to sustainable development, as well as the production and processing of scientific literature in this area, were the main motivations for holding the 6th conference with unveiling the Sustainable Development Brand (Symbol) in Iran.
